Change your habits – save energy

There’s an old adage ‘measure twice and cut once’, but while that applies to carpentry, it’s also a really good place to start if you wish to reduce e your energy bills, as once you know what you’re using its way easier to see where you can make savings.

On this page you can sign up for free training sessions where we’ll show you how to measure your energy consumption snd see where you can save money. Of course, if you don’t fancy a group session, then the tools we use are available online in our free to use My Electricity tool.

Some of the things that we cover are:

  • How electricity is measured and priced
  • Understanding a smart meter
  • What is the baseload)
  • How to use a smart plug to measure individual item’s energy consumption.
  • Which items are likely to continuously draw power
  • What you can do to bring down your power consumption, and bills.
